I have Borland 5.02 and I have the download of C++ Builder free compiler.
Can I use the B 502 IDE and the C++Builder Compiler with it, instead of the B 502 compiler? How?
I'm not sure the resource files that 5.02 uses are compatable with the 5.5 free compiler. I'm also trying to remember if 5.02 had 16 bit options in it. The free compiler (and the C++ Builders that use the compiler) is 32-bit only.
Borland C++ Builder (BCB) 5 and 6 use the free compiler.

I have borland c++ 5.02, c++ builder 4. And I use 16 bit code and componits all the time. I also wright DOS programs in
c++ 5.02 and Builder. So, I think you may be wrong about "C++ Builders that use the compiler) is 32-bit only."
