I have some old code written in Borland 3.1 that I need to convert to 32 bit code. Has anyone been through this and do you have any suggestions. I am new to programming and don't have a lot of time to get this completed, any help would be greatly appreciated.
The question is do you need anything else except the standard Borland C++ 32bit compiler (which is now free ofcourse)? If your application is using OWL I am not sure that you can compile it easily! If it is a standard C++ code not using any Borland- or Windows- or 16bit-specific stuff then you should be able to compile it!
There are dialogs, etc. that need to be compiled also. It is OWL, I do know that. What is the best way to approach this. Did Borland have a process when they came out with a 32 bit compiler to convert over the 16 bit code?
