What part? BorderManager is a suite, not just a single product. I assume you mean either the firewall feature or the proxy feature.
There are ways around both, but it depends on what you are trying to do.
If you are trying to get around a blocked port on the firewall, then you will need to speak with your NetOps guy, or anyone who has admin rights to the server.
If you are trying to get around the proxy, you can set a rule to prevent the proxy server from cacheing a particular web site (some web site have issues when they are cached).
If they use transperant proxy, then no, you can't get around it. There are workarounds to alomost everything though. The best way to do this is find out if they will allow pcAnyware or any other remote control program to go through the firewall. Then just remote control a PC you have at home or anyware else that does not have to use the BorderManager proxy. Use the web browser there and it will not be affected or tracked by your Netops.
If your web browser has to be configured to use a proxy server, remove the settings and see what happens. If it still works have fun , but cross fingers and hope they don't use transperant proxy.
