Hello all,

I have a question. I am trying to setup a test server with Novell 6 and BorderManager 3.7. My Problem is when I get Novell 6 installed with service pack 2 I install bordermanager. No problem...yet. Now if I would want to use this as a application server I cannot because there is no application object in ConsoleOne or NWAdmin32. I have to install Zenworks 2 then 3 then 3.2.

With BorderManager on the System though I never make it past the 3. It errors out and the server becomes dead in the water. So my question is does bordermanager need Zenworks install, and how the hell do I get the Application objects in without installing Zenworks 2 then up? Well that is for the Zenworks group, unless someone can help with that[smile].

Any ideas would be good. Thanks for any help.

Again, I have no idea why your installing 2 & 3, you can just install 3.2 and be done with it.

See your post in the ZENWorks forum for same answer to this question.

I would not recomend installing ZDF on a server running BM, you will kill the server (unless you have like 4 gigs of ram and quad CPU's).

Hey Provogeek,

Boy you get around ). I just read the other post and will check into it.

I figured it would be a issue like that somehow. I have a gig of memory, but I didn't think they liked eachother on the system. I will not then install it. And you are right it not only killed it, the server practically begged to be shot.

Thanks again for replying. I really appreciate the help )
