This has been annoying me for ages, hoping someone has a fix.

When exporting anything from Draw you get a border in the exported image.

Example: export a solid black square (jpeg, gif, bmp etc)with or without an outline and in the resulting image you will have a 1 pixel grey border.

I know it's only 1 pixel but if your exporting for the web that 1 pixel often stand out and you then have to paint it out of every image.

Any ideas?

What file format are you exporting to? I typically export BMPs and TIFFs. I do not get the grey border you speak of.

Really? I got it in previous versions as well, currently on V11.

bmp, jpeg, tiff, gif, it doesn't seem to matter.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Try the anti alaising setting - try both on and off to see if make difference

You are right Brushman, it seem's Paint anti alaises the edges of images.

Thanks for your help.

ps. Is it just me or is there no point anti alaising straight lines?
