Hi,
I have replaced my submit button for a form for an image and done some styling on the form itself (the input boxes, can't work outhow to do the dropdowns!!).

Anyway, as I have changed the border on the input fields the button now has a border around it. A real pain! I have teried cvarious ideas to get rid of the border (input:image is a pseudo class I saw) but whilst in IE it is fine, in Firefox I can't get rid of the border.

Anyone know why?

Rich

Attribute selectors would normally be perfect for this, but not supported by all browsers, or all versions of Firefox, AFAIK.

You would be best off putting an in line style on the submit image itself, or giving it an ID and using that in your CSS.

Hope this helps,
Dan

Thanks Dan,

Inline styling worked a treat! Would you believe that I had already tried it but left out the colon in the style!!

I think I must be stupid or overworked at the moment!!

That was a bit harsh wasn't it!!

Hopefully it was only a joke. We all make silly mistakes sometimes.
