We have a Netware 5.1 server running Border Manager 3.5. A consultant set it up as well as NAT. I had to restart the server and we could not get out thru the firewall. It appeared the Border Manager was not running. Someone told me to type in load proxy at the server console. That got Border Manager running but we had Servers on our WAN that we can not see now. Is there another load statement that needs to be run? Any suggestions would be great.

There is a couple of timing problems with bordermanager loading. By default i have started to delay brdsrv loading at the end of autoexec.ncf by putting a ? in front of it. By default it will delay it 10 seconds.

You need to also have a look at you filters. There is so much in Bordermangler that it is very difficult to diagnose with limted information. Lee Smith
