Does anyone know if there is a border-collapse: alternative for Netscape 4.0 and 6.0? I want my tables to have extremely thin borders and this happened using "border-collapse:" in a MSIE environment.

Thanks!

I'm surprised that NS6 doesn't support border-collapse, but if it doesn't, it doesn't. Not in the least surprised that NS4 doesn't (especially 4.0, which was released a year before the border-collapse rule was specified!).

My advice would be not to worry too much about it, as there are very few users of either browser. Just design your pages with a few pixels' leeway to allow for those users whose borders won't collapse as you'd like.
