I am trying to get the bootstrap and client files indexes to go to seperate pool. The attributes i have are:
Name: Bootstrap
Pool Type: Backup
Save sets: bootstrap
index

With these settings I only seem to be getting the indexes going to this pool and the bootstrap is going to another pool.
The pool the bootstap is going to has the attributes:
Name: OpsysFull
Groups: Default
Devices: \\.\Tape0
Levels: Full

Any ideas???

Get rid of the Device specification !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You must not choose a device to save to a pool. The best proof is the pool Default itself.

Im not sure ive explained it correctly, the pool mentioned at the top is the pool that I am trying to get the bootstrap to go to which does not have a device attribute specified. The pool below that with the device specified is the pool the bootstrap is actually going to...

Hope this makes sense..

Actually, using the save set attribute for bootstrap & index is all you need. I hope you did not use any other.
As long as you do not state all attributes for both pools (group, client, saveset, level) i can not be of more help.
