Hi All,
I'm having redhat linux 2.1 advance server.When i installed it it had by default 2 options in lilo.conf one is linux and other one linux-up.When i reboot the server it takes linux by default and gets hanged.I have to manually select linux-up and then the server boots properly.I have commented out the linux part in lilo.conf but still it takes linux while booting.Below is the contents of the lilo.conf file:-
prompt
timeout=50
default=linux-up
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
message=/boot/message
linear
#image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.9-e.3smp
# label=linux
# initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.9-e.3smp.img
# read-only
# root=/dev/hda7
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.9-e.3
label=linux-up
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.9-e.3.img
read-only
root=/dev/hda7
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
RK
