Booting problem in linux Advance server 2.1

Hi All,

I'm having redhat linux 2.1 advance server.When i installed it it had by default 2 options in lilo.conf one is linux and other one linux-up.When i reboot the server it takes linux by default and gets hanged.I have to manually select linux-up and then the server boots properly.I have commented out the linux part in lilo.conf but still it takes linux while booting.Below is the contents of the lilo.conf file:-

boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
message=/boot/message
linear

Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

Have u run lilo to update the MBR it is neccessary to load new lilo configuration in MBR.
