init version 2.78 booting
init cannot execute
init cannot execute "/etc/rc.d/rc.sysint"
entering runlevel 1
init cannot execute "/etc/rc.d/rc"
no more processes left in this runlevel

I have a this message when I try to boot to runlevel 1....any suggestions?

Look inside the /etc/rc.d/rc1.d folder and see whats in there. Copy and paste a screenshot of the contents of that folder. Use the "ls -l /etc/rc.d/rc1.d/" command.

I can't get to a command prompt...it just hangs here

Boot to runlevel 3 first.
