I have 1 question:

I have problems booting from a floppy. When I boot up, floppy or not, I can enter BIOS, and if I don't enter BIOS i get to a thing that shows my IRQ things and thats it.

My green LED light from the floppy never turns off BTW

Make sure that your floppy controller cable is connected the right way round - the light will stay on if the cable is backwards.

have had same problem before, ended up being that the floppy drive was screwed...try replacing if you can with another one, other then that it could be a conflict with some other hardware, i will usually try taking all unnessesary hardware out then adding 1 piece at a time to see if the prob will reoccur..hope this helps

Usual cause with light on all the time is cable backwards. But it can be the cable itself , or the floppy, and on occasion the controller itself.
You also need to look at the cable attachment. It is possible on some drives to connect it a row or a pin offset. Ed Fair
