Booting BCM from Compact Flash Card

Has anyone had any luck putting a BCM image onto a compact flash card? I ask this as IDE HDDs are no longer being made so looking for an alternative

Hi ...Lets start by letting us know what you are wanting to achieve.

Are you trying to clone a bcm hard drive to a certain version. What ver are you dealing with

I am wanting to clone the 3.7 image I have onto a compact flash card. I can boot the version 4 images no problems so its not a BIOS issue, but the 3.7 say 'missing operating system'. And yes, the 3.7 image works in a normal HDD
