Hi all!!
Whe are running out of SCSI Narrow disk's here in Sweden :)
And we have a lot's of our customers with old IBM RS/6000
43P that needs to increase Diskspace on there Systems.
If a disk crashes at this time and the disk is an 9,1GB N
we dont have anymore of those..
I would like to be able to install 4.3.3 on an 43P 100
with an SCSI Wide Adapter an one SCSI Wide Disk.
I have tried to install but it doesnt boot, I booted
on the cd and it finds the Wide Adapter and Wide Disk
but when trying to install it says that the disk is not bootable.I tried to install it anyway and
the installation runs fine but it's doesnt boot.
I booted on the cd again and imported rootvg and did
the bosboot -ad hdisk0 and bootlist -m normal hdisk0
and rebooted but it STILL doesn't boot :)
Is there anyone who has an idea, i know this is possible
but i dont know how....

Thanks

Emacs,

Run the followin command:

bootinfo -B <hdiskno>

If you get a return code of 0 then the disk cannot be booted from.
