Bootable RAID 1

I changed from RAID 0 to RAID 1 and finally got it recognized in XP. I set it active. What's the best way to make it the boot partition? There's nothing on it right now. I could use the help.

load windows on it. then go into the bios and set it before the other hard drive in the boot order.

I shall use google before asking stupid questions!
