Boot with Qlogic 2200F from fc4500 lun is not working

hello
i want to boot from a emc fc4500 with a qlogic 2200f, it works fine with an emulex lp8000 but qlogic has got failover multiple path and other features in the drives, which i prefer. the acces to the lun works fine once the system is booted with another drive. but when i scan i the bios of the 2200f, i can't find the lun and cant assign it as boot device. can anybody help?
