Boot up, Network connection slow load.

When booting into XP, everything else loads up fast and no problem. The network connection takes about 1 minute or so to finally load up all of the sudden. (I try to launch pppoe connection when everything is finished loading and it takes about a minute or two to load up, then the dailog box finally comes up, along with the network status icon)

I msconfiged and disabled everything, I just cleaned out and disabled all non essential services, reset my tcp/ip stack and nothing so far.

I have no clue where to go next, help anyone?

Try the alternate connection feature and set both a static IP and DHCP:

The delay can come from XP waiting for a DHCP returned IP before assigning an automatic APIA IP.
