Hi again,
Like MKMA say me in another message the way for make a system backup in tru64 is /sbin/vdump. This system command is very similar to ufsdump in Solaris system and my question is if /sbin/vdump coan make a booting tape with a backup of OS.
In solaris with ufsdump we doen't make a boot tape and is necessary boot from CD-ROM and make the partition table with the command format in the new disk. have we got the same problem in Tru64 or have this OS a command for make a boot tape like HP-UX (make_recovery)?
Thank in advence.
