Do I need to run nodecond after running spbootins?

yeah. or you can 'Network Boot' the node in the PSSP Hardware perspectives at the CWS.

bring up perspectives, it's the management GUI for the SP. type:

within a window at the CWS. (run 'xinit' at the command line if you do not have X windows up on your CWS).

double click the 'Hardware Perspectives' icon, it should be in the upper left area. you should then see a graphic representation of your frame(s) and node(s). double click on the node you want to manage. within the next window you see should be a button to 'Network Boot' the node, just click on that and it will perform the nodecond for you.

it's of course quicker to do this on the command line, but with the GUI you have an interface where you can watch what's happening.

Why use Perspectives?

Just run:
Code:
