Hi,

Currently I have an Asus Motherboard. Usually when I boot my pc, I use to get get the Asus screen, that would appear briefly. Now it boots straight to windows. Also, I wanted to know upon booting whether it is detecting my primary IDE, most pc's display a boot screen showing what has been detected.I was wondering is there a way to enable this feature?

Thx,
Joe

If your hard drive is working correctly then it is safe to assume that it has been detected.

To get the bios screen you want you will have to enter the Bios and select the appropriate option to display any Boot-time Diagnostic Screen or QuickBoot Mode or similar type option.

The instructions to enter your Bios will be displayed briefly during Booting, it will instruct you to press something like F1 or the Delete Key to enter the Bios.
