Boot Problem

I have Mandrake Linux 9.1 Installed and When I bootMy Comp
I get

L99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99

Across the screen then Linux Boot Loader Comes up and every thing is ok then

does any one know Why this is happening and how to stop it

that indicates the error refers to bad drive geometry? The person in the post ended up determining it was a kernel+motherboard love/hate relationship. Maybe it will point you in a good direction.
