Boot problem on Solaris8

by mistake I have removed some patches from my solaris 8 server . when I boot it stop at enter username:& Passowrd
when I put root and passowrd it gose back to same status .looks like i lost CDE or openwin .please advice which patch ot add and wher to find.

using patchrm or did you do a rm on some dir?

Dear daFranze,

I have used Pkgrm to remove some pakages related to one software . Then I got this problem
 
do you have another machine with a similar installation?
You can run pkginfo on both hosts and compare...
Or if you have a backup of the root FS restore the old /var/sadm/install/contents File and run pkgchk

Or run a full restore ;)
