Hi again,

My F50 server is not booting up correctly. After unplugging the power to start it back up because of the sysplanar0 error. The server will not boot up now. It seems like it's going through it's regular routine but then it's almost as if it just stops. Nothing in the display window, no login prompt on the screen and when I ping the IP... times out. Can anyone help. I didn't change anything with the bosboot either.

Thanks...

danatural,

Your sysplanar error is a service processor POST failure.

Looking at the action column for the error in the F50 service guide, it appears you have done the first two actions (unplug, wait until the operator panel is blank and then try again). And it looks like the next step is to call an IBM CE. It appears you are going to have to replace the service processor card or the sysplanar.
