Boot OS from cylinder greater than 1023

Does somebody know, how to boot OS from cyl. greater than
1023? I receive message CYL OVF during Boot.
Operating system is SCO Open Server v. 5.0.2. HDD has 1920
cylinders and UNIX partition lies from cyl. 1540.
