Boot on SAN (IBM) SVC not supported ??

Hi,

Is true that boot on SAN SVC is not supported ?
I am quite surprised but the SAN guy told me that and I don;t see why IBM will not support there own product for boot on SAN...
But I am still waiting from the SAN guy the
Just asking if one of you have already this information and so I have to move on... :-( or if one of you has already did boot on SAN SVC and have found somewhere IBM or redbooks that it is supported if you can send me the link...

I have done a lot of boot on SAN EMC , IBM etc but with no SVC and was supported ...
