Compaq Proliant 1600 - needs both a token Ring adapter to connect to an ISDN router and a standard ethernet NIC to connect to the LAN.
The problem we have at the moment is that each time the server boots it 'loses' the token ring interface. That is to say, an IPCONFIG shows only the one adapter, and more importanatly the 'route' commands show only one interface.
The problem can be resolved temporarily (until next boot) by physically unplugging the token ring cable, disabling the token ring adapter, re-enabling it and plugging the cable back in!!
We have uninstalled the Token Ring Adapter, and its driver and re-installed them. We have also searched for a different driver to no avail.
Any comments/suggestions welcomed!
