We setup the production server in datacenter A, which is solaris 8 that boot from San A. The 2 San storage in between 2 datacenters is synchronized.
If I have same / similar hardware in datacenter B,
is it possible that I just mount the storage and boot
up the system from San B.

In AIX, there is alt_clone function which can probably make this happen, how about solaris?

As long as the system in datacenter A is not using the disks at the same time, you should be able to boot up the system in datacenter B. You would presumably have to do a "reconfigure" boot to pick up the devices on that system, if it is not configured identically to the system in datacenter A. You may want to break the synchronisation before doing this to make sure that you make no changes to the operating system belonging to the first system.
