Hi all,

I need a boot disk to boot a Proliant DL740 with a Smart Array 5i SCSI Controller to launch an installation of Windows 2003 from a cd that is not bootable. I have a boot disk with support for Adaptec SCSI cards but it don't work well with this server. Could anybody help me?

Thanks

Boot the server from the SmartStart CD and launch the installation that way.

Mike

I can't use SmartStart CD because I need to do a disaster recovery. I need to launch a Windows 2003 installation from CD. Now I can boot from a disk and access the cdrom but I can't access the disks because the boot disk don's support Smart Array
