boot disk help!

Pretty much you are out of luck. On standard installation the only alternative is an emergency boot disk.
Probably need to plan on installing to another hard drive of same type, create the boot disk, then reinstall the blown drive to troubleshoot. Ed Fair

You can purchase the disks through I'm not sure what it is now, I think it used to be about 30 bucks for the disks.
