Hi, I am trying to do a clean install of Solaris 10 update 10/09. I currently have Solaris 10 running on the server. Being that the version is so old, it's easier tp patch it by updating it with the latest version of Solaris 10.
I get "error
ackages/deblocker:last trap: corrected ecc error read failed", when I do a "boot cdrom" at the ok prompt.
I am using a downloaded version solaris 10 (.iso ). The cdrom see a cd if placed in the dvd drive. I haven't found a dvd, that the drive will read. Granted I don't have any software thats on DVD but the Solaris 10 OS.
The dvd drive has the lastest firmware from Toshaiba (1009). I have the latest obp firmware too. Oh yeah, the hardware is a Sun Blade 2000.
