boot a router

Hi,

I have a Cisco 3660 Router, I want to to boot it from TFTP sever,because it's flash bank is crashed.I set it's "boot system tftp (file name) 192.168.0.25",This IP is tftp server IP in Same Network with router Ethernet.But it was not boot .What is the problem

Check that:
1. the filename is correct
2. the TFTP software is actually running on the your server.
3. the IOS file is located in the TFTP default file path.
4. ensure you have network connectivity from the router to TFTP server (can they ping each other)

You may have to manually set the config register to boot to TFTP, check Cisco's site for instructions to do this.
Otherwise it might try to boot into the flash by default
