I am looking for the cheapest way to boost the wireless signal from a T-Sinus 154 DSL Basic wireless router. There is a thick building wall and a floor between where I am and where I want to be able to access the signal. The actual distance is only about 1-5 meters, but the signal drops off mostly due to the wall (about 50% just because of the wall). The rest of the signal is degraded by the floor/ceiling or other objects. I can get about 20-40% signal strength downstairs at the point closest to the router, but I need signal strength all throughout the downstairs, or at least more than just one tiny corner.
Any suggestions? I am in Germany, but I could also have someone buy equipment for me in the US and ship it to me.
