Boolean parms change default in enterprise 9. 1

The defaults for boolean (true – false ) parms for some reports we created were defaulted to “ false”. These reports were CR in 7.0 We migrated to CR reports 8.5 and the parms worked fine.

We are starting to use to enterprise 9 using the reports in reports 8.5. The boolean parms will default to “true” from "false" in enterprise 9.

They all are still default of “false” in CR 8.5. Has anyone experienced this as well?

FYI - You are not using the reports in 8.5, when you published them into Crystal Enterprise 9.0 the Report Objects were updated to CR 9 format.

You can manage the default parameters of your published reports in the parameter tab of each individual report Object in the web-based CMC.

If you have hundreds (or thousands) of Report Objects to manage, you can look at 3rd party tools like APOS ObjectManager to update them as a block.
