boolean parameter set in RDC not working

I have a Crystal XI report that has a boolean parameter which works fine when I run inside Crystal but when calling from the application, it appears to set it to .T. (currentvalue) according to Debug but when the report displays it shows as null (a little box to be precise) and the filter doesn't work correctly.

Any ideas?
