Boolean field: If "F" draw box if "T"

draw check box (put check). Using Crystal 9, very new to this. I do not know if you can have a statement and draw boxes for you, so I tried a simple

If {field} = F then " " else {field}.

What I wanted it to do is if the field is False then leave empty space, if the field was True then but the T in the field. Could someone help me please, thank you.

To make bollean formula output look like checked or unchecked box, you need to format it in Wingdings font and to assign appropriate characters to the True and False results. Like:

if {field}=True then Chr(254) else Chr(168)
