Hello everybody,

I am relatively new to Actuate and have to build sophisti-
cated reports with Actuate 4.1 and Siebel Life Sciences
6.3 connected via a COM interface. And this quickly (Dou-
ble entendre intended).

I frequently search the Siebel/Actuate Bookshelf but I
need more background information e.g. function of all
methods, overriding which and why, performance optimi-zation, ...

Can someone recommend books or other ressources?

Thanks in advance,
Andreas

I'm not absolutely certain about materials available for Siebel, but it's likely to be the same as the standard (stand alone) version of Actuate: there are no outside sources/books. All info comes from sites like this (and others) and Actuate's own documentation -- which leaves alot to be desired. Siebel may have additional documentation, but again, I am unsure. Sorry!
