Are there any 3rd party books available for sniffer pro (4.5) or is the manual the only available documentation?

Currently I don't know. There is a book coming out in May. I'll update you with the web site when I get back to work on Thursday.

Laura Chappell has a couple of books that use the Sniffer and Etherpeek(kiss'in cousin of Sniffer)
