We received a PDF which contain 500 pages. The bookmarks are all done, but every time you click on one, the view change from fit width to fit page, or else. Is there a way to change them all to be the same without going and changing them one by one?

Thanks

The standard default magnification for the pages was set to "fit page" by the person who created the doc. If you have a full version of Acrobat, not Reader, open the doc and go to File menu/Document Properties/Magnification and set to Fit Width, if that's what you desire. Save the document. If security has been aded to the doc, you might not be able to change things, depending on the settings in the original doc.

The Document Properties is already set to Fit Width. However, the bookmarks for some reason behave as if they were set individually.
I am using Acrobat 7.0 Professional

On Initial View in Doc Setup, did you check your Window options Resize?

Also check the security settings to make sure you're not locked out of some settings.

Then try Save As and give it a new name, although Save usually works fine.

Yeah, all my Window Resize are fine, and I don't have any security settings. I also created the PDF from a Word document and insure no security was on.

Thanks for all your help jmgalvin. I don't know why the bookmarks are behaving differently. It is frustrating a little :)
