Hi,
Here's a "why does it do that" question.
I create a PDF using Adobe InDesign. That part works fine, that's why I'm not posting this question on the InDesign forum. When I look at the PDF file, I change the Properties so that the Initial View (when the user opens the page) points to the Navigation Tab of Bookmarks Panel and Page. This causes the Bookmarks to show when the user opens the document. I save the PDF file on my local desktop. When I open the file from my local desktop, all is well, the Bookmark panel appears on initial view.
Now I move that same PDF file to my server where the PDF file will be opened up on the server from a link. The problem is the Bookmark Panel disappears and the initial view is just the PDF page.
Why does Adobe Acrobat not recognize the properties that I set for the file?
Thanks in advance for any help.
