I just bought Visual Studio .Net for Web application development and Visual basic programming.

Any suggestions on books? Do I have to buy books for Interdev 6.0?

Thanks in advance.

No. Interdev and .Net are really quite different - even though some ideas have carried over. In many ways .Net is harder, or a steeper learning curve than vb and asp. However, it is vastly superior and flexible than interdev and vb. I would recommend that you go on a training course.

There are now many books on .Net - read the reviews on Amazon. You may have to buy a few (I now have over 6 books) before you feel confortable.

The one that I have found useful most recently is ASP.NET Developers JumpStart from Addison Wesley. Most samples are in VB.Net too.

Good luck. (Content Management)
