I am about to start a job in which I will be using powerbuilder 8 (or 6.5) to build the front end of an oracle database on the windows operating system. I was wonder if I could recommend some good books that would help me. I have never programmer using powerbuilder.

Thank You,

Joshi,

You could start with the Getting Started and the User's Guide manuals found on Sybase.com and go from there:

If you prefer a book, you could buy the PowerBuilder Unleashed.

No need to buy any books.....Hard copy ( Books days ) are out. Use soft copy , easy to access.

If you have installed PB8 ...check for the Help files / PB8 code examples in your menu.

Start menu -> Sybase -> PowerBuilder8 ->Help files /PB8 Code Examples.

Also from the same installation Cd u can install Online help books (Dyna Text)
