I'm studing off the "Pass-IT A+ Exam Preparation" book and I would like to find out if any of you have used it to pass the test. The author pays other people to take the test and write down as many questions as they can remember and builts the book out of them, so pretty much he highlights what will be in the test. Plus I'm doing the practice questions of other books CD just to make sure I know other questions that might be in the test. Thanks for your response.

"The author pays other people to take the test and write down as many questions as they can remember and builts the book out of them".

The classic definition of a BRAINDUMP. Not only does this violate the Non-Dislosure Agreement exam takers are required to accept, this is an unethical practice and devalues the certification.

If memorizing exam questions (it's called cheating) is the level of your technical abilities, I don't hold you in very high regard. If you truly desire to master the exam objectives, I would recommend the A+ All-In-One Certification Exam Guide by Michael D. Meyers.

Good luck.

See, I pretty much know most of the things as I read through several books. I know every single IRQ, DMA, Connectors, Networking concets, etc. Just the thing I want is a review of what will be in the test. But if the Mike Meyers is your recomendation, I'll take your word for it and I'll buy the book today. I plan on taking it by June 10th. How would you recommend to prepare myself for the test?

Another thing, how would you see this book:"Mike Meyers' A+ Certification Passport" is it pretty good to give me a pretty good review?

The A+ Passport book is a slimed down version of the All-in-One book. If you are pretty confident in you grasp of the knowledge, the passport book might be all you need.

Have you checked out the exam objectives from the CompTIA web site? This is the official "roadmap" on the content covered by the A+ exams.

Sorry if I came down a little hard. Braindumps just piss me off.
