Hi, we're running Novell Netware 5, with Novell Application Launcher, Explorer, MS Office and that kind of stuff. We have the problem that sometimes there is a key on the keyboard that acts as shortcut-key to Explorer. That means: hit the key and you are from your application (Word, Notepad etc) in Explorer. Imagine you are typing in Word, hit the SHIFT-key and are bombed back to Explorer. That's annoying. This problem lasts for a day. Sometimes we have a SHIFT-day, sometimes it is ALT, or SPACE or CTRL. It appears to be random and sometimes the problem doesn't occur for weeks. But if it occurs it occurs consistently for a whole day. On those days, we have to close Explorer before opening an application. Then you can hit any key you want, without being ejected from the application.
Can anybody help ???

The Key you are referring to has to do with Client Security. In Netware 5.x you need to disable this feature or it will cause havock. Our experiences with this being enabled allows it to work great in a 4.x environment but not in 5.x.

The key is for the Client Trust... Look into this and I believe you will find that it is the cause of your head aches.
