Dear everybody,

I am a manager at a small games production company, and I have to know what the BEST geforce card is, so that my people can test the games on different types of geforce cards, my people have come with many types of different geforce cards but I would like to have a second opinion.
I was thinking of two Geforce cards:

Asus V8460 GeForce4 Ultra Deluxe, 128MB

and the:

Leadtek Winfast A250 TD Ultra,GF4 Ti4600,128Mb

I hope you can help me!

Thanks in advance,

Neovecchi

THERE IS LITTLE IF NO DIFFERENCE!!

all the 4600 cards represent excellent performance. The manufacturers spec might only include different software packages/cooling options.

ASUS ABIT are the best manufacturers, but my PNY is schweet.... T3/\/\p()

Why limit yourself to GeForce cards when the ATI 9700 Pro is the superior card these days? In fact, the balance swings so often between these manufacturers I'm surprised you don't test your games on both.

Just curious. CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

I agree with Citirx... try an ATI 9700 Pro. They have finally caught up (and surpassed) the GeForce line.

The annoying this is I bought my Geforce4 about 2 weeks before the 9700 came out. =P

The Ultimate Geforce 4 4600Ti is generally accepted as being the "golden sample" from Gainward (consistantly the fastest GF4 4600) personally I prefer the Leadtek Winfast A250TD on your list but the truth is that there isn't any significant differance between any of them apart from price/software packages.
As people have pointed out, there is a new "king" of the graphics cards, ATI's Radeon 9700 is a clear 20-25% quicker than Nvidia's 4600Ti, so you may also want to consider it in your evaluations.
Note* Nvidia's response to ATI's 9700 (the NV30 chip?) won't be out to the new year and may still not be able to beat the ATI. Martin Please let members know if there advice has helped any.
