Hello experts,
I have a project report in which I would like to bold all the master project records and leave the sub-records as regular font. e.g. Project ID is G and underneath are two subrecords G-1 and G-2. All sub-projects have a '-' in the project ID. The report is generated from only one table. Is there a way I can format all to bold excluding all sub-project IDs? I'm not a programmer so not sure what to do.

Check Conditional Formatting. This assumes you have Access 2000 or later.
