I'll just preface this by saying I am relative new to Access. I have a report based on a query. When the results appear in the report, I would like every instance of my query term bolded. I can display the individual query term on the top of the report and bold that, but I cannot figure out how to bold just the term itself when it appears within a sentence or inside other text. Thanks in advance for the help!

This is not possible without using an RTF control. For instance, if you are querying for "eggs", your report can't print text like:

Can you pick up eggs and ham on your way home from work?

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not familiar with RTF controls at all. Is that a difficult concept to master? Thanks for your help.

I am not optimistic that you wil get this to work in a report. For decent RTF information, check Stephen Leban's site
