I work for a large corporation with hundreds of sites and we get frequent visitors from those other sites with their laptops. I am always seeing new Wireless connections popping up when we have visitors. For example, this week I have been seeing WifiInn, Wireless network, or Free public Wifi popping up. Is this a virus or a spyware issue? All of these laptops have McAfee Enterprise 8.0 installed by Corporate IT.

Not sure if this is the "Evil Twin" scenario I am just starting to read about.

I've seen this type of situation discussed before on Tek-Tips...

*clickety* [pc2] thread730-1239995 in the Wireless forum..

Any use?

THank you for the referral to that thread. I had scanned the wireless forum, but missed it. Sure seems like a malware type of thing.
