Bogen Paging Units

I have a customer who has an existing Bogen Paging Unit. We have a Paging Trunk, COT Trunk, terminated to the Bogen. The zones work fine with all the sets but the issue is that when we try and page within Groups, setup within the programming of the Bogen Unit, we are required to use an asteriks. For example, ACOD + * + Group Number. However, the asteriks acts like a pause and once the pause is over I am able to page in zones, NOT in groups. The work around is putting in a (#) before the Asteriks and then it will page in groups. Bottom line is the Asteriks and not sending out tone for the Bogen to recognize.

Has anybody had the same issue?
