I have a remote shop that is too small to put in a phone system but still needs the function of paging. Anyone know if i can install a Bogen AMP and page from the managers office without a phone system? if not any suggestions on how i could get this setup?

No problem.

Get yourself amplified horns APH 5 with the power supply, they use two pairs; one pair goes to the horn 24 volts it feeds the coil in the horn, the second pair use another 24 volt DC power supply it goes to the voice in of the horn off of the same 24 volt DC power supply run a phone cable to the office install a phone jack and an analog phone.

Go off hook and page.

Or any decent amp and a desktop microphone with a monentary switch.

Yeah, that's what I do for the small stuff. Put in a Bogen Classic 100 that can sit on a shelf and connect a desktop paging mic to it that looks like one of those old CB base station mics. Run your 70V line out to your speakers and you're good to go.

The nice thing about that is if you ever to add a small little key system later - like a little Panasonic one for just a couple lines and a few phones, you can connect right to the same paging amp and be good to go.
