The lowest default security level is VIEW. This is what I want except I do not want to allow View Instances.

Is there a way to create an additional default security level or must I always specify Advanced and then modify the security setting?

Thanks!

You need to specify Advanced and then modify the security setting.

Being able to create new SECURITY PROFILES has been on my BOBJ wishlist for a while.

The Object Manager tool from APOS.com allows you to (among a TON of other stuff) create security profiles.

Yes, but the APOS profiles still only appear as ADVANCED in the CMC - the ability to create/re-use profiles in the CMC existed in the old Seagate Info tool but never returned after the Crystal Enterprise migration.

It should be part of the base product...
